ALABAMA STRANGE CAKE

1 stick butter
1 box cake mix, yellow or lemon
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. oil
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 box confectioners' sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter. Mix with egg, oil, 1/2 teaspoon flavoring and cake mix. Spread
in
greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch greased pan. Batter will be stiff.

Mix cream cheese, sugar, 2 eggs and vanilla. Pour over cake batter. Spread
evenly. Cook in slow oven 325 degrees for 45 minutes.
